Silk Thread

Silk Thread

Weaving the thread of silk,
Listening to everybody,
The marks on the fingers speak out,
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Keep the thoughts of the heart in the heart,
Keep the weight on your shoulder everyday,
Making false promises to everybody,
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Now I am feeling sleepy,
Memories are haunting me now,
Who are you to tell this to others?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

It will be a new day, a new morning,
Still there is darkness in my eyes,
On which road are you going?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Now I am tired enough to sleep,
Have started losing my existence,
Why are you waking up the angels?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

My youth is coming to an end,
Got this as a symbol of love,
Which hurt are you trying to heal?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Now I am friends with air,
Friendship with the world is now old,
Now who are you befriending?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Now I am broken and shattered,
When someone has lived and done it,
Why are you picking up the same again?
Writing about the atrocities on paper.

The caravan is going in front of us,
Why am I standing here?
Who are you waiting for? What are you hoping for?

Writing about the atrocities on paper.

Vishal kaushal

This is my first book of poetry. I am trying to portray my thoughts on paper with the help of my poems. Time passed, looks changed, thoughts changed, met new people, made new friends, and some people I still remember and some people who still remember me.
