Even the shadows have faces

Even the shadows have faces,
People also sleep on hungry stomachs.
Happy people with smiling faces.
Often cry in solitude.
Even the shadows have faces.

Where is the trust in all that I hear?
Now even I am annoyed.
I learned from your love
that
Beauty can be stone-hearted.
Even the shadows have faces.

Slowly reciting the story of my heart,
Else it would become a legend

Remember the olden generation
that
Even the walls have ears,
Even the shadows have faces.
Stars that smile looking at the moon,
Each day I write on the paper a new tune.
Smile at getting something, else be disappointed.
Today I learnt
that
Kids are like this only,
Even the shadows have faces.

What is the new era of life?
Who worships here?
Who has the fear of God? They ask with astonishment.
God also lives in this world.
Do not believe in that God,
Then why do these riots happen?
Then why do these riots happen?
Even the shadows have faces.

This is my first book of poetry. I am trying to portray my thoughts on paper with the help of my poems. Time passed, looks changed, thoughts changed, met new people, made new friends, and some people I still remember and some people who still remember me.
